We are using the Duet3D products for the printer. The combination of Duet2 and Duex5 fits perfectly our needs for a toolchanger printer project.
The toolchanger and all tools are connected by USB3.0 - We found a USB breakout that fits our needs to route all needed control wires through an usb cable for better cable management.
For better cable management, we plan to use cable channels in the back of the printer.
